Our Process
Live Well Designs incorporates wellness into your design and into the collaboration process. A very important aspect of this is communication and transparency. It all starts with the right consultation.

Project Initiation
We are overjoyed that you have considered us for your interior design project and look forward to getting to know you on a deeper level. During our initial consultation we will tell you more about how we operate. At Live Well Designs it is our passion to create transformative spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and functional. This will not only be a space where you coexist, but where you should thrive. In the end, we aim to ensure a process that is smooth and an end result that blends wellness into your space!
Directly following the consultation, our expert advisors will define the scope of work, our design intent, and goals. A retainer fee is required to initiate the project and to provide an estimated timeline. Once the LWD Design Agreement is signed and the initial design retainer is received the project is live. Our mission is to be your advocate as we navigate this process.

Programming and Design Development
Here is where the fun starts! We will gather all your ideas from Pinterest, magazines, Houzz, and elsewhere to begin formulating a picture of what your ideal space will look like. We want to put together all you are envisioning down on paper to create a clear expectation for the end result and how to get there. Feedback is welcomed and strongly encouraged.
The creative process is timely as all the little details matter and we want to present a quality product with planned alternatives. This includes building 3-D renderings, mood boards, and sourcing of materials. Are you a client that likes to be hands on and involved? Or do you prefer more of a turnkey service? Either way we are here for you every step of the way.

Client Presentation
A formal meeting will be scheduled to look over all renderings, mood boards, and other materials. This will be a time to re-evaluate your goal for the space and reflect on how you feel about the space in regards to colors, textures, and materials.

Design implementation
Once a final design is selected our team of experts will begin ordering all the items necessary to begin constructing your space. Each item will be confirmed prior to ordering. This process takes time as not every product is available in the surrounding area and our team will keep you updated on the progress. As items arrive they will be installed in your space.

Final Delivery
This is the moment that you have been waiting for! As all the pieces fall into place and your new space becomes a reality, we take great care to go back through and tidy up all loose ends. This includes a walkthrough of your space and a close inspection of all work that had been done. If any adjustments are to be made they will be scheduled and completed. Now it’s time to sit back and enjoy your new space.
