Founder and designer of Live Well Designs, Melissa Barrett is a designer who achieves integrating wellness and design into livable spaces with a contemporary approach. Her design concept allows her to create a rich sense of wellness and inspiring spaces for the client. Melissa strives to capture the client’s dreams and needs to reflect a certain mood that allows the client to enjoy the space as a work of art. With Melissa’s background in the medical field, she considers design to be the place holder for health. This unique methodology of health-conscious design is applied into each of her projects. Melissa blends her medical knowledge and design talent. As a Colorado native, Melissa’s version of living well is strongly tied to nature and the outdoors. This is rejuvenating space that allows her to relax and explore new places while she is not working on a project.
Mike Barrett
MANAGING DIRECTOR
With a background in Engineering, Mike’s understanding of design and strategy makes him a natural fit as Live Well Design’s Managing Director. His logical approach to problem solving maintains LWD mission statement and vision. Born and raised in Colorado, Mike enjoys challenging himself whether it is in mountain biking or designing unique design features for LWD. A lover of hands-on design and nature, he can often be found working on home improvement projects or mountain biking in central Texas at Spider Mountain.
